CASE STUDIES: Did you know we…?

We enjoy working with so many interesting clients—PR firms, non-profits, and small businesses—on New Media Releases, but did you know we also do newsrooms, websites, EPKs, flash reports, evites, e-newsletters and more? Here are a few recent projects we’ve enjoyed working on.

Website Case Study: The Chicago Canine Club

The Chicago Canine Club had big goals but a small budget. They needed a website that would help blend their conservative branding with the color and vibrancy of their location and express their love of dogs without breaking the bank. PWR came up with a plan, designing a site that married the country-club style branding with the colorful and energetic feel of their doggie daycare, working within their budget constraints to spread their dollars and give this dog-loving non-profit real bang for their buck. Electronic Press Kit Case Study: Gatorade

Gatorade’s new ad campaign, The Quest for G, features famous athletes in a series of Monty Python inspired web vignettes and an ad. To introduce the campaign to the press, and targeted bloggers, Fleishman Hillard needed an Electronic Press Kit that was as impressive as the campaign itself. PWR created two version of the Electronic Press Kit, both highly branded and loaded with web and print-friendly images and video. Click here to view EPK.

 

Flash Report Case Study: National PTA

National PTA does an outstanding job getting coverage in the national press. Their PR team wants to be sure their outstanding work is seen by key members, such as board members and local PTA presidents, who need to know what the media is saying about their brand. PWR distributes this bi-weekly Media Watch on their behalf, ensuring their great work really gets noticed while saving them time by doing the heavy lifting.  From recent releases to television coverage to national and local pick-up, the Media Relations team at PTA keeps everyone in the loop and looks great doing it! Invitation Case Study: Clementines from Spain

Clementines from Spain had a great idea: they wanted to invite kids and parents to local museums for a cooking class with former Food Network host, Ceci Carmichael. But how to spread the word? In need of email-friendly design, Weber Shandwick turned to PWR to create evites for multiple local events. It was brand friendly, email friendly and budget friendly! Electronic Press Kit Case Study: Bosch/Thermador

The Rogers Group had lots of news to share with the media about Bosch and Thermador, two brands from client BSH Home Appliances. Multiple press releases, loads of images, and even some video needed to be well organized, in a single e-mail, that a reporter can easily save and reference. PWR created and distributed this media-rich Electronic Press Kit, saving the client paper and postage by making traditional press kit folders and CD-ROMs a thing of the past. Click here to view EPK.

E-Newsletter Case Study: Norton Norris

Norton Norris is an innovative marketing firm that helps schools and colleges with their branding and marketing. So when they needed to communicate with customers and prospects, it was essential that their e-newsletter was well branded, highly functional and very interesting—they are experts after all. To make sure they were using the email medium wisely, they turned to PWR for help generating appropriate content, growing their list, designing and developing a professional newsletter and ensuring exceptional inbox delivery. New Media Release Case Study: Caress Skin Wear

Caress Skin Wear teamed up with Carson Kressley and Kim Kardashian, developing some informative and entertaining video and content they wanted to share with the media. When it came to packaging the information in a way that would be highly branded, journalist and blogger friendly, and take advantage of their great digital content, they turned to PWR. We created an NMR that was sent to the press, making it easy for them to grab embed codes, download images, or just get the skinny on what’s new at Caress. Click here to view the NMR.

New Media Release Case Study: Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute

Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute wanted to share their new COOK IT FROZEN video with the press. PWR helped them package video, images, recipes and background info in a user-friendly email that was sent to a highly targeted list of journalists, making it easy for them to grab what they needed to cover the story. They’re cooking now! Gift Guide Case Study: Bath and Body Works

Bath and Body Works wanted to let journalists and bloggers in on all the great holiday gifts available at numerous price levels and for even the hardest to please people on a list. PWR designed this appealing gift guide, sending it to long lead publications early in the year and redistributing to short lead publications closer to the season.
