1st Quarter Review: 2012

Summary
This issue of National PTA Media Watch reports on earned media placements within the 1st quarter of 2012 (January—March). Total placements resulted in 40 million media impressions (number of people who saw the coverage based on circulation) and more than $4 million in estimated advertising equivalency (amount it costs to purchase equal advertising space). From the loss of National PTA’s 55th President, Jan Harp Domene, to being positioned as thought leader in national and trade publications, news media continues to report on National PTA’s efforts, initiatives, positions and events.
