National PTA and Facebook Announce Partnership! Renee Zucano D'Agostino
This is a commendable effort to bring this issue to the forefront. Many schools touch on this topic but dont really take enough time to educate about the dangers of surfing the internet and unfortunately, some kids wont take it seriously enough unless presented in a structured setting by a seemingly authoritative individual (yes, parents apprieciate... See More pamphlets but some children,I believe are more receptive to Teachers and the like...Kudos and THANKS to the PTA and Facebook>I hope Nyack Public School will implement this program through our PTA. :)

I was fortunate to be at the EMLC 2010, and had the honor to hear Judge Hatchett speak. She is an awesome WOMAN OF GOD and her words were very inspiring. Thank you Judge Hatchett!!

Texas textbooks re-write history Danielle Hawkins
What I don't understand is how the people that want to change our children's textbooks aren't scholars or historians!!!! I'm not understanding that at all. And if they get the opportunity to do this, how wrong and misleading our youth could be!
Collin Robinson
This is just proof again that parents need to play a larger part in the education of their children. It's not enough to assume that what they are taught in school is all they should be taught.
Also not enough to think that a single viewpoint is correct, or more correct than any other. Take the North and the South during the civil war, both are a part of the history... should one side not be taught?
Steph Johnson
They may re-write it, but they cannot deny it. It is our duty as parents and community members to remember our past. Good and bad.
